Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, property address and characteristics, requested services, quotation and project information, communications, documents uploaded to the customer portal, payment or contract records, marketing preferences and consent records. If you allow optional cookies, we may collect device and browsing information, referring pages, campaign details, advertising click identifiers and interactions such as form submissions or phone and WhatsApp clicks.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- To answer enquiries, arrange surveys and prepare quotations: steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interests in operating our business.
- To coordinate and deliver agreed services, manage projects and support customers: performance of a contract.
- To maintain financial, safety and compliance records: legal obligations and legitimate interests.
- To secure and improve our website and systems: legitimate interests, with optional analytics used only with consent where required.
- To send electronic marketing and measure advertising: consent or another basis permitted by applicable direct-marketing law. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only where reasonably necessary with suitable installation and trade partners, surveyors and other project participants; website hosting, CRM, cloud, email, SMS, analytics and advertising providers; professional advisers; and regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required. Partners act under their own responsibilities or our instructions as appropriate.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use a UK adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not progress: normally up to 24 months.
- Project, contract, accounting and tax records: normally six years after the relevant relationship ends, unless law or a dispute requires longer.
- Portal documents: while the project is active and for an appropriate project-record period afterwards.
- Marketing consent and suppression records: for as long as needed to honour preferences and demonstrate compliance.
- Optional analytics and advertising data: according to the selected platform settings, reviewed regularly.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies, marketing and AI-assisted tools
Optional tracking remains off until you choose it. Change your choice through Cookie settings at any time; see our Cookie policy. Marketing choices on enquiry forms are optional and do not affect our response to that enquiry. We may use AI-assisted tools to organise or draft business communications, with staff oversight. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.
Security and updates
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system is risk-free. We may update this notice when our services or legal duties change and will show the current date on this page.
